On 18–19 September 2026, the annual meeting of the Association of Baltic Numismatists was held in Tallinn, bringing together 13 numismatists from the Baltic States and Finland to discuss the development of numismatics and share information about recent discoveries and new trends in the field.

Viktor Dāboliņš, a member of the project, presented his paper, Mintmaster David Kawer: a Well-Hidden Name in the History of the Dole Mint (1572–1573), introducing the mintmaster of the Dole mint, whose name was discovered in the minutes of the 1572 Livonian Diet of Wenden. As this is the only known source mentioning this highly important individual, the paper explored possibilities for uncovering further information about him and suggested that he may have originated either from the Jewish communities of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth or from among members of goldsmiths’ guilds.

In addition to the presentations, members of the Association discussed organisational matters during the annual meeting and agreed that the 2027 meeting of the Association of Baltic Numismatists will be held in Helsinki.
